Please read these Terms carefully before using Body Equation. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to be bound by them.
1. What Body Equation is
Body Equation is a digital, educational planning tool that generates personalised nutrition and hydration estimates based on established equations and the information you provide. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical, dietetic or professional advice, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping your login credentials secure.
3. Health eligibility
Body Equation is intended for generally healthy adults. Do not use it if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, under 18, have a diagnosed eating disorder, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, kidney disease, or any other medical condition, unless you have first consulted a qualified healthcare professional. Stop use and seek medical advice if you experience adverse effects.
4. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually). Your $1 trial automatically converts to a recurring subscription at the standard price unless cancelled before it ends. You can cancel at any time from Settings; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, reverse-engineer it, use it to provide services to others without permission, or upload unlawful, harmful or infringing content.
6. Intellectual property
Body Equation™ and the Body Equation™ Engine, including all associated content, branding and software, are owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. You receive a limited, non-transferable licence to use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
7. No warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or health outcomes associated with using the service. Estimates are educational and may not reflect your specific physiology.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Body Equation and its owners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, or for any health outcomes arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
